Space

Space exists everywhere. It’s the distance between people, the pause that gives meaning to a moment, and the empty areas that shape what we see. Whether in the cosmos, a room, or a relationship, space allows things to exist and breathe.

This photo is of a blooming tree in my neighbourhood. The season is finally changing and the trees are taking up more space in the landscape. I love the colours and their contrast with the sky.

I was walking up Yonge St when I noticed the moon lined up nicely with the row of streetlights. As I lined up the shot, there was a man sitting in the bus shelter behind me and he said "I was wondering if anyone else would notice that. Beautiful, isn't it?"
